Creating a user name and password
You can select a user name and password of your choice. Please bear in mind that user name and password must have between 6 and 20 characters. You may not use any blanks or special characters except "@", ".", "-" and "_". When making your entry, distinguish between capital letters and small letters. Note: You cannot switch off the autofill function in Explorer 5.0 (automatic indication of your user name). Please remember to click on your user name when it is displayed. You can however also enter your user name in the normal way. If you press the return key without clicking on or entering your user name, an error message is displayed.
Password forgotten / changing password
If you have forgotten your password, you can request a new one from us without any hassle. Click on "Password forgotten" and enter your user name and e-mail address. Within only a few minutes you will receive an e-mail with a new, automatically generated password. You can use it to log in again. Your profile naturally remains unchanged. Please change this new password the next time you log in.
Example: Logging in / new password does not work
You have forgotten your password and requested a new one.
Unfortunately, you are still unable to log in! Why?
Please copy the password sent to you in the e-mail and paste
it into the "Password" field. Sometimes a capital "o" for
example, is mistaken for a zero.
The cause might also be that your old password is still in the
cache. With Microsoft Internet Explorer, you can delete your
cache by going to "Tools" and then to "Internet options". In
the "Global" folder you can see the "Temporary Internet files"
item. Press the "Delete files" button there. Also press the
"Empty history" button under "History". If you now close your
browser and then open it again you can try to log in again with
your new password.
