Expanded glass granulate is foamed, recycled glass – 100% mineral.

Non flammable (certified non flammability, building material class A1, DIN 4102).

Extinguishing effect due to suffocation and isolation of the source of the fire.
Melts at high temperatures – absorbs heats in the form of melt energy.
Creates a shield around the battery housing – prevents a reaction with oxygen.
