Aluminium padlock – lightweight shackle lock for lockout-tagout applications

The padlock made of aluminium combines a lightweight, solid aluminium body with an insulating plastic coating. The reliable shackle lock was developed especially for lockout-tagout applications and supports safe workflows during maintenance and servicing work.

The solid aluminium body ensures high stability at a low weight. The insulating plastic coating is available in various colours and facilitates clear assignment according to work area or user. This allows lockout-tagout processes to be clearly organised and safety measures to be clearly marked. At the same time, the shackle lock is insulated by the coating and is extremely heat-resistant, so that it can also be used in hot or electrical working environments.

A precision cylinder with six pins enables up to 7000 guaranteed key differs and supports reliable locking security. The ''one employee, one padlock, one key'' principle meets the requirements of modern lockout-tagout concepts. The automatic locking increases ease of use, while the integrated key-retaining feature ensures that the key can only be removed in the locked state.

The padlock is suitable for securing machinery and systems during maintenance and repair work. It prevents accidental restart and helps to effectively protect people and technical equipment. As a robust shackle lock, it supports companies in the consistent implementation of lockout-tagout measures and creates clear responsibilities during safety-relevant work.
