Safelex cable lockout – flexible locking element for versatile lockout-tagout applications
Die Safelex cable lockout is a versatile locking element for securing a wide variety of energy sources. Thanks to the intuitive design, the system can be used quickly and comprehensibly and supports the safe implementation of lockout-tagout measures in industry and maintenance.
The locking element features a patented clamping mechanism which reliably secures the cable. Even when locked, the cable can be retensioned at any time. As a result, the lockout remains secure and stable even under changing operating conditions. The insulated metal cable is replaceable and available in different lengths. This allows the locking element to be flexibly adapted to different applications.
For group lockouts, the cable lockout provides space for up to six padlocks. As part of a lockout-tagout procedure, several employees can secure an energy point independently of each other. Only after all personal locks have been removed can the lockout be released.
The Safelex cable lockout is suitable for securing valves, handwheels, fittings or access points against unauthorised access. As a flexible locking element, it supports the locking of many different energy sources and contributes to clearly structured safety procedures in the lockout-tagout process. Thanks to the adjustable cable length, the system can also be reliably used in complex lockout situations.
