Twist drill bit set ECO HSS-Co 5% – durable tool for hard metals

The twist drill bit set ECO HSS-Co 5% offers cobalt-alloyed drill bits for demanding metalwork and high thermal loads. The ground model according to DIN 338 supports precise drilling and reliable processing of hard materials.

The twist drill bits are made of HSS-Co with a cobalt content of 5%. This ensures the tool remains resistant and retains its cutting edge even at higher operating temperatures. This is particularly advantageous when machining solid metals, where conventional drill bits can wear out more quickly. The short design ensures high stability during the drilling process and reduces unwanted vibrations.

From a diameter of 3 mm, the drill bits feature a 135° split point. This facilitates precise positioning and reduces wandering of the drill tip on smooth metal surfaces. Increments in steps of 0.5 mm enable a differentiated selection of the appropriate diameter for numerous applications.

The cylindrical shank ensures secure holding in common drill chucks. The tool can be used both in mechanical and non-mechanical hand tools as well as in machine tools. This makes the set suitable for workshops, production areas, assembly operations and industrial maintenance.

The robust plastic case protects the twist drill bits during transport and ensures clear, ready-to-hand storage. The set is designed for precise drilling work in hard metals as well as for applications with increased heat generation.
