PROSTEP twist drill Set HSS-G – tool for precise drilling in many materials

The PROSTEP twist drill Set HSS-G offers a particularly precise solution for demanding drilling work. The twist drills, which are equipped with a self-centring step tip from a diameter of 3 mm, enable clean, circular holes and ensure fast work progress – even in thin-walled materials.

The special step tip makes centre punching and pilot drilling unnecessary. This allows holes to be started reliably even on pipes or rounded surfaces. At the same time, the step transitions ensure smooth drilling behaviour and reduce vibrations during machining. The result is particularly clean entry and exit holes, even in hand-held use.

The precise hole walls create ideal conditions for subsequent threading work. At the same time, the tool facilitates the drilling out of blind rivets and existing drill holes. The lower contact pressure supports effortless work, which provides noticeable relief, especially during longer tasks.

From a diameter of 5 mm, the drills feature a 3-flat shank. This ensures secure power transmission and prevents the tool from slipping in the drill chuck. The clearly arranged cassette protects the twist drills and allows quick access to the required size.
