WELDON Kernbohrer-Set HSS-G – precise tool for fast core drilling

The WELDON Kernbohrer-Set HSS-G combines high cutting performance with significant time savings during demanding drilling work. The precision-ground drill bits made of high-speed steel enable exact holes and impress with high wear resistance as well as a long service life.

In contrast to conventional drill bits, a core drill only removes a narrow ring of material instead of the entire drilling diameter. As a result, significantly less material is removed, the effort required is reduced and the drilling process is noticeably accelerated. Depending on the application, the time savings compared to conventional methods can be up to a factor of 10. At the same time, time-consuming additional steps such as pre-centring, pre-drilling and reaming are eliminated. This simplifies the workflow and increases productivity.

The precision-ground cutting edges ensure clean drilling edges and high dimensional accuracy. The scope of delivery includes a spring-loaded centring and ejector pin, which guides the drill bit precisely and reliably ejects the core after completion of the drilling process. This facilitates handling and reduces downtime.

The drill bits are suitable for both mobile magnetic core drilling machines and stationary pillar drills. They are designed for drilling in stainless steel, steel, non-ferrous metals, aluminium, cast iron and plastics. Thanks to the robust model, the drill bits remain reliably powerful even in demanding applications and support economical work processes in the workshop, assembly and industrial production.
