WELDON Kernbohrer-Set TCT – precise tool for fast core drilling in metal

The WELDON Kernbohrer-Set TCT combines precise drill bits with a particularly high cutting performance for demanding metalworking. The tungsten carbide teeth and the coordinated tooth geometries enable exact drilling, a long tool life and rapid work progress.

The core drills are made of high-quality high-speed steel and are equipped with robust tungsten carbide teeth. This combination ensures high wear resistance and a durable tool, even with regular use in demanding materials. Three different tooth geometries interlock optimally, ensuring a smooth cut and clean cutting edges. With a cutting depth of up to 55 mm, numerous applications can be carried out efficiently.

Since the drills only remove a ring of material and not the entire drilling diameter, significantly less material is removed. This considerably reduces the machining time. Compared to conventional drilling methods, the time savings can be up to a factor of 10. In addition, time-consuming steps such as pre-centring, pre-drilling and reaming are eliminated, simplifying the entire work process.

The scope of delivery includes two spring-loaded centring and ejector pins. They ensure precise guidance and reliably eject the drill core after completion of the drilling process. The drill bits are suitable for both mobile magnetic core drilling machines and stationary column drilling machines. They feature a WelNit shank and are suitable for core drilling machines with a 19 mm (3/4'') Weldon shank and Nitto universal shank. The tools are suitable for drilling in stainless steel, high-alloy steels, non-ferrous metals, aluminium and cast iron.
