Refractometer – precise emulsion measurement for metalworking
The refractometer is a reliable measuring instrument for the precise determination of emulsion concentrations in the metalworking industry. Specially developed for emulsions, this laboratory instrument enables particularly accurate measurement results and thus supports controlled, economical process management.
With a measuring range of 0 to 20 % Brix, the refractometer is suitable for the regular monitoring of cooling lubricant and emulsion concentrations. The integrated ATC (Automatic Temperature Correction) automatically compensates for temperature influences. As a result, the measuring instrument provides reliable values under different operating conditions. Compared to other measuring instruments with a Brix scale, the refractometer enables a particularly precise determination of the concentration.
Precise monitoring helps to use emulsions in the intended concentration range. The correct mixing ratio of the cooling lubricants is important, as too low a concentration leads to poor lubrication, and the tools wear out more quickly. Too high a concentration results in unnecessarily high costs, and the temperature rises more quickly.
Handling the laboratory instrument is also straightforward. A step-by-step guide makes correct adjustment and use easier. Double joints ensure that the cover always lies exactly on the prism and supports a consistent measurement.
The refractometer can also be used in normal light conditions. For quick use, all accessories required for operation and maintenance are already included in the scope of delivery. This provides a practical measuring instrument for regular and precise emulsion checks.
