The packaging tape tesa® 60416 is a resource-saving solution for the secure sealing of shipping cartons. The backing material consists of 90 % recycled PET from private households (PCR= Post Consumer Recycling). The manufacturing process is completely solvent-free. The recycled content of the entire roll is 55 %.
The adhesive tape does not impair the paper recycling process, which simplifies disposal and recycling. The smooth, quiet unwinding of the packaging tape is particularly pleasant. The tear-resistant PET backing and the water-based adhesive offer a reliable hold for light to medium-weight cartons up to 30 kg.

The packaging tape is used for sealing shipping cartons in e-commerce, in logistics centres and in the manufacturing industry. It is ideal for manual packaging processes where quiet unwinding is important, for example in open-plan office or warehouse areas. Due to its high tear resistance and durability, the tape can also be used reliably in changing temperatures and damp weather.
