Cold-insulated hazardous substance storage container – thermally insulated for frost-free hazardous substance storage
The cold-insulated hazardous substance storage container reliably protects temperature-sensitive media from frost and low outdoor temperatures. As a thermally insulated hazardous substance container, it combines a robust steel construction with 60 mm thick insulation and an integrated sump tray for safe operational hazardous substance storage.
Zinc plated, profiled wall and roof elements made of sheet steel as well as reinforced roof and floor frame profiles ensure high stability. Walls, roof and doors are lined with non-combustible insulation material on the inside. The construction also takes into account the snow load in accordance with DIN EN 1055 and is therefore suitable for demanding outdoor conditions.
A hot dip galvanised sump tray with grate retains escaping liquids. Surrounding liquid guide plates – except in the door area – support targeted drainage into the tray. The grate can be loaded with a maximum of 1000 kg/m² with a distributed load.
Weather-protected ventilation openings in the doors and rear wall support ventilation. Double doors with a safety lock allow controlled access to the hazardous substance storage. With optional shelving (accessories), the thermally insulated hazardous substance container can also be used as a walk-in storage facility for small containers.
Crane eyes and accessibility from underneath by stacker allow the empty container to be relocated for flexible and mobile outdoor storage of temperature-sensitive hazardous substances.
Depending on the model, a non-explosion-proof or explosion-proof air-recirculating/electric heater can be added (accessories). Optional insulation of the sump tray reduces heat loss and can lower heating capacity as well as heating costs.
Additional exterior wall painting in sky blue RAL 5015 at extra cost – other colours on request.
See line drawing for size and position of the door. Other placement on request.
Please note:
The unloading point must be accessible by truck-trailer combination.
A crane or stacker is required for unloading. If not available, please order crane / stacker unloading under accessories.
