IBC insulation hood – reliable insulation for 1000-l capacity IBC

The IBC insulation hood reliably protects the top of 1000-l capacity IBC/KTC against rapid heat loss and supports uniform insulation of temperature-sensitive media. The custom-fit cover helps to maintain the temperature in the container for longer and is suitable for professional use in industry, production and logistics.

The cover is made of high-quality polyester fabric with polyester insulation. This design reduces cooling via the top of the tank container and supports constant process conditions. This makes the insulation particularly suitable for applications where liquids or other media are to be kept at a defined temperature.

For convenient access to the container, the cover features a centrally opening flap with hook-and-loop fastener in the format 215 x 215 mm. This keeps the tank container easily accessible without having to remove the entire hood. This saves time during inspection and dispensing processes and at the same time helps to maintain the insulation.

The IBC insulation hood is suitable for indoor use as well as in covered outdoor areas and complies with the requirements of EU Directive 2015/863/EU. The cover can be combined particularly effectively with an IBC heating jacket. While the heating jacket supplies heat, the insulation helps to reduce energy losses and keep the temperature of the contents constant for longer.
