The speed ramp made of recycled plastic reliably ensures that prescribed speeds are adhered to. It ensures a controlled flow of traffic and impresses with its durable quality, made from sustainable material.
The speed ramp forces drivers not to exceed certain speeds and regulates the speed at exits, loading bays, weighbridges, junctions, pedestrian crossings, and nurseries. On straight stretches of road, it is recommended to install several speed ramps repeatedly at certain intervals.
The conspicuous black and yellow colour scheme increases visibility and a high-grip profile ensures a secure grip, even in wet conditions.
Rounded end elements improve traffic safety by gently tapering the side ends of the ramp down to the ground. They ensure that traffic can pass over the speed ramps comfortably and safely, and prevent cyclists from falling, protect the tyres and chassis of motor vehicles, and provide a proper, anti-slip finish to the modular system.
The end caps provide a secure finish and complete the modular system to ensure safety and functionality. Their use prevents riders of two-wheeled vehicles from getting caught on a steep edge and falling. For cars, they allow for a smoother crossing of the ramp, which protects the tyres and chassis.
The elements are designed to be fastened with dowels – the fixing material is not included in the scope of delivery. In case of heavy goods traffic, it is recommended to additionally bond the elements to the ground.
