Selvio 0146 ZÜCO office chair – Züco mesh backrest

The Selvio office chair from the ZÜCO brand is a symbiosis of striking design and perfect ergonomics. It embodies quality consciousness down to the smallest detail. Designer Rüdiger Schaack designed the entry-level model for the sophisticated Züco world as a real eye-catcher. With its distinctive design, the slim backrest is modelled on the double S-curve of the spine. The new Züco Selvio is reduced to the essential ergonomic functions, but without compromising on design quality. Thus, thanks to the large selection of cover materials, the elegantly designed swivel chair models with mesh or fully upholstered backrests prove to be versatile seating solutions for modern office spaces.

The Syncro-Motion X® mechanism enables a synchronous movement of the seat and backrest and can be precisely adjusted to the individual backrest counter-pressure from the side with just a few turns. The tilt angle of the backrest can be limited in four positions, while the seat depth can be flexibly adjusted via a 7 cm sliding seat. An optimal sitting posture is also ensured by the continuous seat tilt adjustment of up to –8°.

The 5-star base, made of robust plastic, is equipped with hard, unladen-braked castors for soft floor coverings. The fixed designer armrests, made of black plastic, accentuate the chair's clean lines and offer stable support.

The seat is upholstered with a CFC-free, breathable moulded foam, which offers an integrated climate zone as well as pelvic crest support for ergonomic sitting. The backrest features a metal frame made of tubular steel, which is covered with an elastic fabric and filled with breathable foam. The surface is complemented by a high-quality Omega mesh fabric that combines breathability and flexibility.

The upholstery consists of breathable, CFC-free foamed moulded foam with a density of 65 kg/m³ in the seat and 40 kg/m³ in the backrest pads. The seat cover, made of King fabric (100% Trevira CS®), offers high durability and meets demanding requirements for comfort and longevity.

The Selvio is also impressive in terms of sustainability: all materials are produced in an environmentally friendly way, are easy to separate and are fully recyclable. The chair thus combines ergonomic functionality, modern design and ecological responsibility in a compelling overall package.
