One case for all samples
Sustainable materials are a key focus for our customer Linzmeier Bauelemente GmbH. Our packaging experts have therefore designed a new sample case system made from cardboard that presents the construction specialist’s products to sales partners from the building materials industry and trade sectors in an attractive and compact way.

The customer.
At Linzmeier Bauelemente GmbH, everything revolves around construction. The product portfolio of this company, which is based in Baden-Württemberg, ranges from insulation boards for walls and roofs to entire roof and wall construction systems with integrated insulation. The insulation specialists’ products enable energy efficient and sustainable construction. Linzmeier Bauelemente largely supplies its own solar-based energy from the photovoltaic systems on the company’s building. When designing the new sample case, the main focus was therefore using cardboard based materials.
The requirements.
Linzmeier Bauelemente was looking for a sample case system that would showcase the different building materials it makes to customers attractively and convey the principle of sustainability. At the same time, the case needed to be handy and versatile to use. Another requirement was that the sample cases needed to be as compact a solution as possible, as there is often very little space available in the offices and retail premises of its sales partners.
Solution: a handy box plus attractive sales display.
Our packaging experts started by producing a sample for Linzmeier Bauelemente which largely implemented the ideas presented by the insulation professionals. The concept: the sample case is made entirely from recyclable cardboard. Inside the box there is an inlay with individual compartments in which the most important materials from Linzmeier Bauelemente’s product range can be clearly presented. An attractive imprint lends the sample case a high quality design. Ever since the new case has been in use, it has enjoyed a high level of demand and partners are requesting more cases for their field service employees. The field service experts are also pleasantly surprised at how light in weight the filled case is.
