SiS Li-Ion Basic Store EI 90 battery safety storage cabinet – LaCont without fire suppression system

The LaCont LI-ION Basic Charge EI 90 battery storage cabinet is the ideal entry level model for the passive storage of lithium ion batteries, with a main focus on fire protection.

The robust overall construction, tested by the Materials Testing Institute (MPA) in Dresden, exhibits a fire resistance rating of 90 minutes from the inside and outside (EI90) in accordance with EN 1363-1. The LaCont LI-ION Basic provides protection from fires inside the cabinet by means of all round fire protection seals that foam up automatically in the event of a fire, minimising the escape of smoke and toxic fumes. The aim is to gain time to evacuate people in the vicinity and to allow the fire brigade to initiate extinguishing measures.

Other standard features include an integrated ventilation system with smoke detector and fan (to switch off the power supply), 4 height adjustable mesh grate storage shelves with a max. load of 75 kg each (with evenly distributed load), a plinth that provides access from below with a panel for ease of movement, and fire resistant cable inlets for customer installation of fire detectors or zero potential contacts.

Made of non-flammable material (class A2 – s1, d0 in accordance with EN 13501-1) incl. coating (body aluminium in colour / doors RAL 1023 – traffic yellow), zinc plated sheet steel base tray, 17 l collection capacity.
