Lithium-ion batteries are indispensable in our daily lives, but they pose significant risks. With the VLITEX battery bag, you are opting for safety: Developed to slow down the spread of heat, smoke, and fire in the event of a fire, the bag reliably protects the surroundings – whether when charging, storing, or transporting batteries. The bag provides you with valuable time in the event of a fire. In the event of a fire, toxic gases and smoke are produced, which must escape to prevent pressure build-up. Other products can swell and explode. The VLITEX battery bag allows for the controlled escape of gases, while the surroundings remain protected from flames and heat. Shock-absorbing, reduces smoke and heat development, with ventilation, metal fasteners, and cable routing.

The VLITEX battery bag consists of three layers:
– Two layers of silicone-coated fibreglass fabric, which are heat-resistant and stable. A thick mat of fibreglass, which absorbs shocks and protects against mechanical damage. This construction offers excellent protection against falls and the force of a battery fire.

– Short-term temperature resistance confirmed by Kiwa (1000 °C)
– Electrical resistance according to DIN 54345-1 confirmed by Hochschule Hof (< 1.0 x 10^6 Ω)
– Cut resistance according to ISO 13997:1999-08 confirmed by STFI (18.45 N)
– Fire behaviour according to DIN EN 13501 confirmed by MPA (A2)
– Explosion protection and burst strength according to DIN EN ISO 12236 confirmed by STFI (8.69 kN)
