Safety functions for maximum protection
The SPS safety package (Safety Protection System) guarantees safety during use. A patented, electronically controlled safety flap in the feed opening provides protection from injuries due to entrapment of fingers or ties. The EASY-SWITCH multi-function switching element guides the operator straightforwardly and safely through the operation of the device with the aid of colour signals and illuminated symbols. The integrated automatic reverse function with automatic shutdown reliably prevents paper jams, while the automatic shutdown function ensures that the document shredder does not become overloaded when the collection container fills up.

In addition, an electronic door lock with a magnetic switch ensures that the document shredder can only start operation when the door is securely closed. Zero energy standby mode ensures that the device is automatically disconnected from the mains power after 15 minutes to save energy. A light barrier for automatic start/stop automatically activates the device when paper is inserted and immediately stops it when there is no more paper.

With a working width of 310 mm and super-fine cut technology of 0.8 x 5 mm, this document shredder achieves the highest security level P-7, which is suitable for destroying highly sensitive data. It shreds up to 11 – 12 sheets (A4 paper, 70 g/m²) or 9 – 10 sheets (A4 paper, 80 g/m²) at a time – ideal for constant use in larger offices.

The 1600 W AC motor ensures an exceptional cutting capacity and enables constant operation with no loss of performance. The robust gears in a closed housing ensures a uniform transmission of force and a long service life for the device. The automatic oil injection system on the cutting rollers ensures that the cutting capacity remains consistently high and minimises wear, even during intensive use.
