Product description
- Fibre reinforced security seal with extra long lasting adhesive strength
- Resistant to cold, heat, light or moisture
- Ultimate tear strength: ideal for sealing heavy cardboard boxes
- Tamper proof seal
- Sustainable with plant based adhesive
This fibre reinforced gummed adhesive tape ensures a particularly tear resistant, tamper proof seal on cardboard boxes. When moistened using a gummed adhesive machine, the tape bonds permanently with the cardboard and forms a fixed seal. The tightly woven mesh thread in a diamond shape makes the security tape especially tear resistant. It is therefore ideal for sealing heavy goods. The tape is resistant to ageing and UV radiation as well as temperature fluctuations. The tape can be disposed of together with the outer box and is biodegradable.

Biodiversity
Biodiversity refers to the health of ecosystems and the influence on the stability of food chains, the availability of clean water, soil fertility and climate protection, among other things.
This product has more natural components than comparable products and could contribute to the protection of biodiversity. The product's natural components are based on the use of renewable materials to make the product, which in ideal cases are sourced from FSC® or PEFC certified forestry practices, and are also biodegradable after further processing. If there is any plastic in the overall product, it should be limited to the minimum possible. Protecting biodiversity is also possible on the basis of additional product sustainability certificates and when the product manufacturer/supplier has implemented an ISO 14001-certified environmental management system.
Circular economy
A circular economy is an economic system in which waste is avoided and resources are used efficiently by recirculating materials, products and waste in closed cycles and reusing them as raw materials or sources of energy for new products.
This product makes a greater contribution to achieving a circular economy. The greater contribution compared to other products is the result of several factors, including the use of hardwearing materials, the ability to be recycled, and the use of recycled materials in the product design. Sustainable packaging is also factored into any assessment within a circular economy.
