BIC floor scale – KERN steel

The floor scale is a high-quality industrial scale, which was developed for precise weight detection under demanding conditions. With a readability of 1.0 kg, this platform scale offers high accuracy and reliability – ideal for weight control of heavy goods in production, logistics, warehouse and shipping. Thanks to the compact overall height of only 108 mm, pallets, mesh boxes and other heavy goods can be conveniently weighed.

The robust steel construction with non-slip chequer plate ensures durability and safe handling even under high loads. Four silicone-coated load cells ensure even force distribution and precise measurement results across the entire platform. With ingress protection IP67, the BIC floor scale is optimally protected against dust and splash water and is therefore perfectly suited for harsh industrial environments. The LCD display with 25 mm large digits enables a clear reading of the measurement results, even in unfavourable lighting conditions. The evaluation unit can be flexibly mounted – for example, on the wall or on a desk – which allows the scale to be easily integrated into existing work processes.

The floor scale impresses not only with its accuracy, but also with its user-friendliness. The intuitive 4-button control panel enables quick commissioning and easy handling. Power is supplied via an included power adapter (100 – 240 V) with an operating time of up to 60 hours – ideal for mobile use without a fixed power connection. With its easily accessible junction box and optional DAkkS calibration, the platform scale is optimally designed for long-term use. It is excellently suited for incoming and outgoing goods inspection, packaging inspection, batch control or random weight checks of heavy goods.
