IoT-Line platform scales – KERN weighing platform WxD 400 x 300 mm

The IFC are robust industrial scales for daily use in harsh industrial environments. The consistent design, menu structure, key functions and interface protocols mean that operation is standardised across all products. The scales are Industry 4.0 compatible and enable the exchange of data and control commands using KERN Universal Port (KUP). A KUP extension box with three parallel interfaces is also available: RS-232, USB, Ethernet, WiFi and Bluetooth.
The flexible, adjustable interfaces provide numerous usage options. For example, you can continuously send data to a PC for process documentation using interface 1 (WiFi), print stable weighing values using interface 2 (RS-232) and control a device when the target weight is reached using interface 3 (analogue module). The real time clock included as standard ensures precise time stamps for the logged weighing results and enables you to continue working with the correct time even after power failures.
The platform consists of a stainless steel weighing plate, a painted steel base structure and a silicone coated aluminium load cell with IP65 dust and splash protection. It is supplied complete with a table base with wall bracket for the evaluation unit, and a protective cover.
