The E218 screw-in fuse lockout offers a well-thought-out locking system for the secure safeguarding of screw-in plinths in maintenance situations. With its stepped thread diameter for E14 and E18 threads, it reliably prevents the insertion of fuse cartridges into D01 and D02 plinths.
The lockout is screwed directly into the screw-in plinth and mechanically blocks access. A yellow special key is included and enables the easy setting and removal of the lockout. For additional security, a padlock can be attached – thus the system meets the requirements for Lockout-Tagout (LOTO). Several screw-in plinths can also be flexibly secured in series with a rope or cable lock.
A white warning sticker ensures clear visual communication and increases occupational safety. This lockout system is ideal for use in industrial facilities where controlled shutdowns and protection against unintentional re-energisation are essential.
