The mobile Professional PRCD-S ADVANCED personal protection intermediate switch from Brennenstuhl offers maximum safety when operating electrical appliances at sockets whose perfect function is unknown. This intermediate switch for on-site cable installation is specially designed for construction site use and continuous outdoor use and meets the requirements of DGUV Information 203-006 (formerly BGI 608).

The residual current device type A (30 mA, all-pole switching: L/N/PE) features an undervoltage release, which prevents automatic re-switching after voltage recovery. Additional safety functions such as the improved test for protective conductor interruption from approx. 1 kΩ, glove detection (no switching on in case of fault, even with insulating gloves) and a comprehensive function test ensure maximum safety.

The mobile personal protection intermediate switch is tested according to VDE 0661 and can be connected to extension leads, cable reels, power distributors and electrical appliances. It supports cables with a connection cross-section of 1.5 mm² or 2.5 mm² and a cable diameter of 8 – 14 mm.
Note: the professional connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
