Baling presses
Baling presses reduce waste – at least, the size of it. They compress cardboard boxes, film and paper by up to 95 %. The ideal solution for reducing the volume of any number of materials. The result: easy to transport bales that allow the cargo space in the truck to be optimally utilised and to save expensive, environmentally harmful transport. And while they're at it, they turn waste into recyclables.
In the category Baling presses we offer you products of the following brands: HSM.
Baling presses. There' no such thing as it doesn't fit.
Sorting, compressing, transporting, recycling: these four verbs are all you actually need to describe the whole purpose of baling presses. We're happy to give you a detailed description instead: baling presses are machines that are used to compress different materials for space-saving subsequent transport or recycling. These materials can be plastic or metal containers, packaging made of cardboard or carton, as well as cuttings, films, fibrous materials, PET bottles and other production residue. That is why the baling press is often referred to by all sorts of other names: waste compactor, waste compressor, film press or paper press.
Why should I purchase a baling press?
Because it will save you space and money. Because it will compress your waste by up to 95%, turning into easily recyclable material. In short: if your company produces large amounts of waste and you don't have a baling press yet, then it's about time you got one!
Which baling press do you like best?
Baling presses can, roughly speaking, be divided into two different categories with two different characteristics each: fully automatic versus semi-automatic, and a vertical versus horizontal direction of compaction.
Semi-automatic baling presses: material is fed in manually, and compression is activated using a lever. The advantages: they require little maintenance, consume no electricity and are perfectly adequate for occasional use.
Fully automatic baling presses: material is fed in by conveyor belt. The floor area this requires is corresponding large, which is why the automatic baling presses are most practical when medium to large quantities of waste need to be compressed, which is often the case in distribution or waste disposal centres.
What is the difference between a vertical and horizontal direction of compaction?
Vertical baling presses: material compression proceeds from the top to the bottom. They require relatively little space and are suitable for smaller or medium quantities of material, for example in retail outlets or in industrial or logistics companies.
Horizontal baling presses: material compression proceeds from the front to the back. They are not as high, however require more floor space. You'll usually find them in wholesale companies, in printers and in disposal companies. And if our range of baling presses still isn't enough, you'll find any number of other special products for waste management in workshops and industry in our webshop.
