Thermal insulation box made of sustainably produced polystyrene for refrigerated and frozen shipments of food, pharmaceuticals and other temperature sensitive products. Due to its light weight and excellent insulation capacity, the polystyrene box is ideal for shipping and transporting chilled or frozen products. The time for which it can be shipped depends on the number and output of the cold packs used. Our insulated box also makes an impression in terms of sustainability: while conventional polystyrene is produced from raw fossil fuels, in this case, the manufacturer uses a 100% biomass balance approach to resources such as bio-oil and bio-gas sourced from organic waste. Since the production steps are the same, our sustainable insulating box has the same thermal and mechanical properties as conventional polystyrene packaging – but with 75% less CO2 emissions.
