Sustainable, natural, safe: place your trust in the Landbox^® – hemp standard thermo boxes for 48 hour shipment of refrigerated goods and for express shipment of frozen goods. Hemp has won many fans in industry and construction as an excellent insulation material with similar performance values to polystyrene. The actively breathing natural fibres ensure optimum insulation for chilled goods in the secondary box, while regulating moisture levels at the same time. Our standard thermo box ensures the cold chain remains intact for up to 48 hours – using 18 mm thick hemp fleece on the sides and a double lid and base. Frozen goods can be shipped with dry ice by express post with delivery within 24 hours. Mixed products baskets are also possible due to the double packing method. The hemp matting also ensures good resilience and makes an impression with its natural appearance and pleasant feel. Natural packaging not only protects the environment, but is also easy on your wallet: compared to polystyrene boxes, three to five times as many thermo boxes fit on a Euro pallet. This saves transport and storage costs.
The raw material is sourced exclusively from certified hemp growers. The plant casts plenty of shade and improves soil fertility. Weeds don't stand a chance around hemp, making the use of crop protection chemicals unnecessary. 97% of the plant can be exploited for the production of clothing, food and medicines, meaning hemp is characterised by an exemplary eco-balance.
