The Professional PRCD-S ADVANCED protective adapter cable from Brennenstuhl offers reliable personal protection for use on construction sites and outdoors. It enables the safe operation of electrical devices at sockets whose faultless operation is unknown. This device meets the requirements of DGUV Information 203-006 (formerly BGI 608) and is strongly recommended for construction and assembly sites.

The mobile residual current device type A (30 mA, all-pole switching) features an undervoltage release, which prevents automatic re-connection after voltage recovery. Additional safety functions such as the improved earth conductor interruption test from approx. 1 kΩ, glove detection (no switching on in case of fault, even with insulating gloves) and a comprehensive functional test significantly increase safety.

The device is tested according to VDE 0661 and equipped with an oil-resistant 3 m rubber cable (H07RN-F 3G1.5). The robust construction with a rubber earthed plug and coupling with cover makes the protective adapter cable ideal for continuous outdoor use. Thanks to protection class IP44, it is splash-proof and suitable for harsh environments.
