Product description
  • Flexible screw mount enables the use of screws and hooks with different thread shapes
  • Glass fibre reinforced plastics and the metal skeleton inlay (fischer DuoTec 12) ensure high tensile and shear loads are absorbed in all panel building materials
  • Soft, grey nylon contact surface distributes the load over the panel surface and thereby minimises any weakening of the load bearing building material
  • Standard drill hole diameters and short tilting element for easy installation in narrow cavities, including ones with insulation
  • White flush sleeve with snap function allows the plug to be pre-installed quickly and securely in the drill hole
  • With scale on the grip strap (fischer DuoTec 12) for determining the required screw length (scale value + 20 mm)
The fischer DUOTEC nylon toggle plug for absorbing high tensile and shear loads using its 2 components. Easy installation with a small drill hole diameter of 10 mm and short tilting element, even in narrow and insulated cavities. Easy pre-assembly, and the plug will not fall into the drill hole even without a screw. No cutting into and therefore weakening of the plasterboard. The tilting element automatically folds open behind the board and lends it its load bearing capacity. The flexible stainless steel screw mount allows the toggle plug to be used with wood and chipboard screws, or metric hook and threaded rods with lock nuts. It functions like an expansion plug when drill holes are hit in solid building materials.
