The film for the AirWave® air cushion machine is suitable for producing air cushions and cushioning mats directly at the packing station. This allows voids in shipping cartons to be filled efficiently and products to be reliably protected during transport and shipping. The air cushions are produced as needed, which saves storage space and allows packaging processes to be designed flexibly.
The organic air cushion film is based on a thermoplastic material made from potato starch and is suitable for a wide variety of shipping applications. The produced air cushions offer a reliable cushioning effect and protect goods from impacts and from shifting in the carton. At the same time, production directly at the packing station ensures efficient use of materials and fast workflows in the shipping area.
The film carries the ''OK compost HOME'' and ''Keimling'' certifications and can be disposed of via home compost or the organic waste bin. Ideal for companies looking for an alternative air cushioning solution for professional packaging processes.
