Protective ESD Cortronic shipping box for packing, shipping, transporting and storing components that are sensitive to electrostatic discharges. Special layers equalise electrostatic voltages and shield electrical fields. Ideally suited for assemblies, computer parts etc. that are sensitive to electrostatic discharges. 2 cut pieces of foam are required in each box for padding (studded foam, 20 mm thick), foam conductance 109 Ohm/cm² (DIN 53482). Shielding function in accordance with HBM (shielding layer < 102 Ohm, conductive layer 107–8 Ohm).
